Networking Night at One of the Best Kept Secrets Venue in the City

So where did I go?

I was invited to the Bay Area Wedding Network (BAWN) event at the Marine's Memorial Club & Hotel on Tuesday night. This hotel is on the corner of Shutter Street where I didn't know that they have such beautiful and grand ballrooms for brides and grooms.

This is my first time here at the Marine's Memorial Club & Hotel and I love it. Not only they have different level where bride and groom can pick and choose their wedding site, their team are very professional and friendly to assist guests. My friends and I had a great night there networking with other new and old friends who also in the wedding business. It's always great to come to BAWN to check out great venues, services, and some showcase of the excellent vendors and also to make some new friends. I had a great evening!

Here you go for the ceremony setting of their 11th Floor Crystal Lounge:

Amy & Robert's Wedding - Pacific Oaks Vineyard Estate

The rain is back, and it will keep on sprinkling for the rest of the week. Before our sunny weather return, I thought it would be great to show one of the weddings I did under a gorgeous weather in Santa Cruz last September to brighten your week. :)

Amy & Robert are such a sweet couple from the way I saw during their wedding process. Even though they were having their house remodeling at the same time of the wedding planning, Amy and Robert kept it very well in the balance of who should be responsible on what. Robert has 100% trust in Amy to make decision or designing their wedding. They picked the private estate, Pacific Oaks Vineyard Estate, up on the Aptos mountain which give you a spectacular 360-degree views of the Pacific Ocean and Santa Cruz mountains. Amy incorporated her ideas by using seashells' centerpieces to go along with the beautiful nature setting that already existed on site. No extraordinary decoration is needed; pretty much a simple decor is all you need.

I'm so happy for them to start their live together with a new looking house and best wishes to the family!!

Great Night at the San Jose Museum of Art

Wow! What a great night at the San Jose Museum of Art for the "Art-inspired Events"! For those who missed it, don't worry, I got you covered here. ;-)

I got to meet some of my friends in the industry, make some new friends, and as well great people who are thinking to have their special event host at the museum. The most comment I got after talking to people is that "Oh...I never thought of museum would have such a unique event space!" That's right! Museum actually has a lot of potential to create a special event that you want. Giving an open space where you can be as creative as you want and make your imagination become reality, it keeps you think outside the box!

check out the photos below, and you will see why...enjoy!!
*Big Thanks to my good friend, a very talented and professional photographer from Chung Li Photography who shoot for the night! If you are looking for a photographer, he should be on your checking list!
