New inspiration for table setting

It's the time again for Classic Party Rentals Annual Open House. This time I have Jenn with me to go visit the warehouse in Burlingame to see some inspired new designs. With their products, the beautiful floral arrangements combined with lush linens and unique dinnerware, really set the mood for every single table showcased at the event. It was really exciting to move from one table display to the next, and see just how extravagant, elegant, and unique you can make your event with a simple plate or table linen.

Networking Night at One of the Best Kept Secrets Venue in the City

So where did I go?

I was invited to the Bay Area Wedding Network (BAWN) event at the Marine's Memorial Club & Hotel on Tuesday night. This hotel is on the corner of Shutter Street where I didn't know that they have such beautiful and grand ballrooms for brides and grooms.

This is my first time here at the Marine's Memorial Club & Hotel and I love it. Not only they have different level where bride and groom can pick and choose their wedding site, their team are very professional and friendly to assist guests. My friends and I had a great night there networking with other new and old friends who also in the wedding business. It's always great to come to BAWN to check out great venues, services, and some showcase of the excellent vendors and also to make some new friends. I had a great evening!

Great Night at the San Jose Museum of Art

Wow! What a great night at the San Jose Museum of Art for the "Art-inspired Events"! For those who missed it, don't worry, I got you covered here. ;-)

I got to meet some of my friends in the industry, make some new friends, and as well great people who are thinking to have their special event host at the museum. The most comment I got after talking to people is that "Oh...I never thought of museum would have such a unique event space!" That's right! Museum actually has a lot of potential to create a special event that you want. Giving an open space where you can be as creative as you want and make your imagination become reality, it keeps you think outside the box!

Up on the Palo Alto Hills

I was invited to the NACE (National Association of Catering Executives) event, and it's their 50th Anniversary yesterday! Happy Anniversary!! :)

It was my first time, and I had so much fun meeting with lots of new people in the industry (well, they are not new, just that I'm new to the association). We chatted and learnt about each other services and sure enough, they will be added on my vendors list in the future! This event was held at this beautiful location at Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club. If you are looking for a private golf club or somewhere outside the city, this is a location you should definitely look into! And their foods are delicious!!!

Cupcake is the trend for wedding cake. I have more brides asking for where to find a bakery that do delicious cupcake, and here you go for one: Cake Coquette I like chocolate but because of the sweet, I don't usually go for chocolate if I have other choice. BUT, this is a chocolate that I like!! Not too sweet but still can taste the favor. Love it!


I don't really know what this call, but it's really yum!! 'Not too sweet' again :) and you can taste the fresh strawberry and vanilla favor cream on top of a sponge. And as you saw, it's from Satura Cakes. If you see it in store, try it!
